“Around 50% of people, almost all in developing countries, rely on coal and biomass in the form of wood, dung and crop residues for domestic energy. These materials are typically burnt in simple stoves with very incomplete combustion. Consequently, women and young children are exposed to high levels of indoor air pollution every day. Children’s Home Monthly Donors There are 45 amazing children living at the Children’s Home. The cost to support each child living in the Children’s Home is $100 a month/per child. This money covers food, medical care, clothes, supplies, school tuition, and more. A portion of this money is also used to employ Haitian workers who help care for the children( guards, cooks, house mom, washers). Please consider making a monthly donation to support these beautiful children. Philadelphia Baptist School of Pignon This primary school, started in 1982 […]

The old well was also powered by a […]

Student Loans: We would like to help raise up a new, educated generation of Haitians who are not reliant on handouts, but have the skills needed to provide for their families and contribute to their community. Lending a student money to attend college is something Loving Haiti is very excited about. The potential long term benefits of school loans are extraordinary. The loans will be offered at no interest and the students will be responsible for paying off their balance after they graduate. Example: Meet Darlin. […]
