Denny is in Haiti! Day 1
Waiting with Daddy for his airport shuttle
Denny headed to Haiti for Spring Break. He took a red-eye flight Friday evening and arrived early Saturday morning.
When he arrived at the compound on Saturday he told me he could not believe how clean and good the kids looked. The ability to shower every day paired with the care of Carl and Sigalit has changed everything for these kids! They looked glowing, healthy, and so beautiful.
Here are some pics he sent me from his day on Saturday:
Sigalit chillin’ with the kids!
Carl and KateLove
This is SO exciting! Carl and Sigalit overlooked a project to level/build a concrete play area for the kids right out side the Children’s home. Denny tried taking some panoramic shots to help up really get the feel of what it looks like!
Isn’t this awesome? The kids walk straight out their front door onto a beautiful, level, play area! Denny brought four-square balls and chalk for them to use on their new pad! I will try and post a before and after picture when I get a chance. But for those of you who have been before, isn’t is AMAZING?!

The kids love Carl and Sigalit and don’t want them to leave!!!
The universal game all kids love
Felicien!
Beautiful kids!
Those two boys are always goofing around
Denny and Michelda
These two ladies look so grown up since the first time we met them!
Stay tuned for a post from him about Easter Sunday!
I will blog on here as he sends me pics!

wow – the playground looks great!
thank you so much, Sigalet and Carl. It was a WONDERFUL idea. That ground was so uneven and dangerous, and now it’s a usable playground – awesome!

Wow, it looks so great there! And the kids do look so healthy and full of joy! What a great blessing Carl and Sigalet’s time there has been. I’m sure it will be so hard for them to say good-bye to the kids; and vice-versa. And the picture of Denny and Michelda is unbelievably touching…..what love.
