Egg Hunt in Haiti!

Before I left for Haiti, Abby got a hold of some friends here in Fort Collins and asked if they’d be willing to donate some eggs so I could do an egg hunt for the kids in Haiti. So many generous families responded and filled tons and tons of eggs for the kids!

It was super confusing trying to explain to the kids what an egg hunt is, but with Sigi’s mastery of Creole, the kids understood and watching them search, run, find and open the eggs was priceless. There was pure joy and laughter from the kids. Children as young as 2 and as old as 19 were running around the property laughing out loud as they found eggs :-). It was such a neat experience to witness. We did one egg hunt for the little kids followed by another for the older!
